What is our refund policy?
We understand that circumstances can change for families. You can cancel and receive a refund of your class registration fee, minus 10% for processing fees, right until the class begins. Please reach out to us right away at email@example.com, and we'll be happy to help you.
If you do need to withdraw from a class, you must do so before the class begins, and you can select from three options:
- Switch into another Tinkergarten online Circle Time class listed on our site. Here's how:
- Search for a class at tinkergarten.com/classes
- Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and specify which class you would like to transfer into, and we'll be glad to transfer your enrollment to that class.
- Request a credit for the value of your class which you can apply toward any future Tinkergarten class.
- Request a refund, minus 10% for processing fees.
Any refunds made will be posted to the original form of payment, and, depending on your financial institution, may take 5-10 days to be reflected in your account after processing.
What happens if the class is canceled?
If the entire class or a subset of sessions within your Online Circle Time are canceled by Tinkergarten, we will reach out immediately with options to transfer to another class, or receive a refund or credit for the full value of any sessions that were canceled.
What happens if I miss a session of the class?
We do not offer future season credits/refunds or offer make-up sessions based on sessions missed by an enrolled family. For the privacy of participants, sessions will not be recorded for later viewing. At Tinkergarten, we deeply value the learning community that develops within each class over the course of the sessions, so we encourage families to plan to attend every week.
What happens if I have technical difficulties that prevent me from attending a session?
Refunds and credits are not provided for missed sessions due to disruptions in a family’s technology. All Tinkergarten Online Circle Time sessions take place on the video platform Zoom. Before the first session, we’ll email you a link to connect to the class, with quick directions for how to ensure that you and your child have a great experience. We encourage families to review this information prior to the first session and to review the system requirements for using the zoom platform. We also strongly encourage families to download and test Zoom prior to the start of class to ensure a smooth online learning experience. Additional troubleshooting tips can be found in the Zoom Help Center. Unfortunately, our team is not equipped to provide technical support. If you have questions, please refer to the zoom tutorial sent prior to your first session and/or contact Zoom support.
What if the Leader reschedules a session?
Though rare, there may be times when the Leader needs to reschedule a session. The Leader will make every effort possible to choose a day and time that works for the majority of families. If you are unable to attend at the rescheduled time, you can request a refund for the rescheduled session that you were not able to attend.
What is our safety policy?
The safety of our community is a top priority. We recommend that all participants leave their camera on so that Leaders and children can interact fully. For the safety of participants, our online sessions will not be recorded by the Leader and we require that families do not record or photograph the zoom sessions.
Another critical step to maintain the security of our online sessions is to ensure that each participant is, in fact, one of our enrolled families. To confirm that only our enrolled families join our online sessions, we require that families either participate with their video enabled (recommended) or, as a minimum, connect by video with the Leader at least once at the beginning of class before electing to participate with the camera disabled.
