What happens if I miss a day of class?

Important Update Regarding Make-Up Classes During the Creativity 2020 Season

The health-assessment SMS sent to all families before each class is a vital part of our safety protocols. Because we cannot ensure that a family will get this SMS when they attend a session with another leader, we will not be offering make-up classes during the Creativity 2020 season. We will announce the resumption of our normal policy, outlined below, when conditions allow.

At Tinkergarten, we deeply value the learning community that develops within each class over the course of a season, so we encourage families to plan to attend every week. For this reason, we do not prorate class costs, or offer future season credits/refunds based on missed sessions.

However, we know that "life happens," and situations can arise which may affect your ability to make it to class from time to time. If you are away, kids are sick, or the planets simply don't align one day and you miss a Tinkergarten class, we welcome you to make up that session. Families can attend up to two sessions per season as make-ups, and they can attend these make-ups either in another class running within that season, in the next season that their leader offers, or with another local leader.

Makeup sessions are subject to availability. In order to request a makeup session, please reach out directly to the leader whose class you'd like to attend to confirm whether they can accommodate you and your child.
