What is the refund policy?

We understand that circumstances can change for families. In the event that you are no longer able to attend a class, please reach out to us right away at support@tinkergarten.com, and we'll be happy to help you with one of the options below.

Requests for un-enrollment before the second session of a class are eligible for a refund of the cost paid, less 15% registration and processing fees.

Requests for un-enrollment after the second session of a class are eligible for a refund of 40% of the cost of remaining sessions.

If you do need to withdraw from a class, you have three options:

  • Switch into another Tinkergarten class listed on our site. Here's how:
    • Search for a class at tinkergarten.com/classes
    • If you would like to transfer, email us at support@tinkergarten.com and specify the location and date, and we'll be glad to transfer your family.
    • We can apply the remaining balance of your current enrollment to the cost of that class.
  • Request a personalized code with a credit that never expires for the full remaining value of your season, minus credit card processing fees. You can apply that code toward any future Tinkergarten class!
  • Receive a refund under the policy outlined above.

Because enrollment without attendance takes a spot that another family might have filled, and class costs are incurred for each enrolled explorer (including materials, processing fees, and compensation for our leaders), we are unable to provide refunds or adjustments for unattended sessions after a class has ended.

Any refunds made will be posted to the original form of payment, and, depending on your financial institution, may take 5-10 days to be reflected in your account after processing.
